Amish Chhagan (Chags Photography) is an award winning wildlife and conservation photographer, having been published and featured in numerous media outlets including National Geographic, GEO, WWF Magazine, Africa Geographic, and World Photography Organisation.
Amish’s mission is to create visually striking and thought-provoking images that engage and inspire the viewer, as well as drawing attention to the importance of conservation. His role as a wildlife photographer exists because there are beautiful and spectacular moments to capture in the wild, but therein exists an important duty to the preservation and conservation of the wilderness and its natural habitat. This gives him a bigger sense of responsibility as a human and photographer to use his work to showcase the beauty of the once abundant wildlife on this planet.
He describes his aspirations in his words; “I have found a purpose that brings my creative passion alive; one that contributes to creating impact in the world and one that I can share with the world. I would like people to view my work more than just a photograph, but to illustrate the beauty of the natural world, to highlight a key issue and to tell a story – in one word, art.”
