After 30 years working in the TV for C4 and National Geographic, Jules took a leap of faith and decided to follow her passion and become a full-time wildlife photographer.

As part of her job at National Geographic Jules led the strategy for Nat Geo Wild internationally and curated programming for the yearly Big Cat conservation initiative. Jules worked very closely with some of the worlds best photographers, explorers, and filmmakers which gave her a huge opportunity to learn and be inspired by their stories and apply that to her own work.

Jules looks for an unmistakable sense of place in her photography. In her compositions she is constantly seeking to capture the raw beauty and majesty not only of the wildlife in front of her, but equally important to her is the environment around it.

Jules is also increasingly looking for those subjects and environments where she knows black and white will enhance the final image, as she loves its timeless beauty and elegance.

Jules’ work has been recognized in competitions run by Natures Best, WNPA, Mono Awards, Muse, and The Greatest Wildlife Photographer – Kenya. They all aim to showcase the work of the best photographers around the globe. 10% of Jules’ print sales goes to support various conservation charities in Africa.
